Happy Halloween all you ghouls and fools! The gang from Pittsburgh Underground would never forget you on the best holiday of the year!

One of the biggest questions that the gang here at good ol' PU gets is does Dead Zed Zombie have a girlfriend, let alone why don't we ever see any female characters on the Dead Zed Zombie Show?

The short answer is when is the last time you met lovely lady floating around in the sewer? (and no, Saturday nights in any of our three rivers doesn't count).

With that, we wanted to bring you a very spooky Halloween special - Dead Zed Zombie in Scary Sista! Trust us, you may want to view this one with the lights on (it gave us nightmares just putting it together!).

Which also means the premiere of an ALL NEW Dead Zed Zombie Webisode - Scary Sista! The fun begins tomorrow night at 8pm right here at Pittsburgh Underground! 

So grab your slinkiest dress, platform shoes, and get ready to groove the night away to one of the most nightmarish episodes yet!

Happy Turkey Day everyone!!! Mmm... turkey!!! Can you believe it's here already? The gang from Pittsburgh Underground can't!!! It feels like just yesterday that Dead Zed Zombie, Wolfgang Moonbang, and Rico Roacho were having their Thanksgiving Luau, minus the bird! 

Never fear kids! This year, Wolfie has a BIG surprise for Zed as he 'invites' the guest of honor into the Pittsburgh Underground for the terrifying turkey-day festivities!

This year, we wanted to dedicate our Thanksgiving Day special to both veteran animator Tex Avery and our own National Aviary located right here in our fair city via our home base, the Northside of Pittsburgh. 

We know - sounds like a volatile mix right? That's what Pittsburgh Underground is all about gang - adding the craziest ingredients, standing back, and seeing what happens!

For those of you who've never taken the trip - the National Aviary is the premier bird zoo located in right in West Park, Central Northside (if you use Google Maps, just enter 700 Arch Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212 and you'll find it!). They have EVERYTHING!!! Vultures, crow, and the occasional turkey! So drop by with your hatchlings for a visit my fine feathered finks!

Tex Avery (February 26, 1908 – August 26, 1980) is one of the most famous creators from the golden age of animation who's characters have stood the test of time - Daffy Duck, Bugs Bunny, Droopy, Screwy Squirrel, Porky Pig, and Chilly Willy are just a few who have spent more than a Saturday morning slaying you with laughter!

For this episode of Dead Zed, the PU Polter-TV's (you know, those ghostly little televisions that pop in and out of our shows from time to time) features Tex Avery's 1945 short (now public domain feature), Jerky Turkey. The gang would be remiss if we didn't salute Mr. Avery for all the happiness he's given us over the decades and wanted to bring you Jerky Turkey in it's entirety with this PU Thanksgiving Day Extra - Enjoy!!!

Happy Halloween you nasty little rascals!!! Yes, it's that time again for our old pal Dead Zed Zombie to crawl out from under his rock and entertain you cretins for his 3rd season of monsterous madness in his annual Halloween Spooktacular!!!

For our premiere episode, Zed's special guest star, 8-year old Isaac Cromer wants to be a zombie for Halloween and gets a ghoulish grilling in order to check out his undead street cred before turning him into a ravenous flesh eater.

This episode is jam-packed full of garishly gripping ghouls from beneath the city streets of Pittsbugh, PA - Zombie Capital of the WORLD so ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

Howdy doo all you gruesome ghoulies! It's that time again for another episode of Pittsburgh Underground's favorite frontman Dead Zed Zombie! For this very special episode Zed corrupts the youth of America directly as he warps the brain one of PU's bestest buds, seven year old Isaac Cromer!!!

Isaac and Zed go way back (at least seven years) and have formed a bond that only a zombie and boy could. Occasionally bringing him dim-witted bullies, mean teachers, and the occasional girl scout to munch on, Isaac has been a true pal to his undead brother from another mother! 

In this episode, Zed picks Isaac's brain with some hard hitting questions that only a dead (or undead) dude could! So sit back, nab a snack, and relax that crack as we head down the halls of adolescent anarchy with this new dynamic duo!

As the year pushes on it's safe to say we've all felt a little under appreciated at times as we do whatever it is we do. Even Zed feels the banality of his own daily undead existence as you'll plainly see in this episode.

This year we had an entire Xmas thing planned for Dead Zed, Richo Roacho, and Wolfgang Moonbang - really we did! Unfortunately it didn't exactly work out the way we had envisioned, but then again - it's the thought that counts right?!

 Happy Halloween kiddies!!! We finally made it to the premiere of Dead Zed Zombie - Season 2, Episode 1!!

This was a BIG one kids - not only did we join up with Barnabus Bailey and the Greatest Show Unearthed LIVE at the Hollywood Theater tonight, but we also introduced our old pal Wolfgang Moonbang who's been 'medicating' Zed on and off since our New Year's Eve Show back in January!

On the long search since, Zed's best bud Rico Roacho finally tracked Zed to the Pittsburgh Underground Boneyard - mayhem soon followed... it's just better if you watch it kids (trust us).


It's been a long road kids, but stay tuned for more Dead Zed Zombie episodes as they air first with our new pal Barnabus Bailey every month as he showcases the realms of independent horror and then exclusively here at Pittsburgh Underground for an encore performance!!! Dead Zed Zombie CAPTURED After 8 Months On The Run

Happy Halloween gang!!! It's Pittsburgh Underground's FAVORITE DAY OF THE YEAR!!!! And what a year it was!!! Hell! What a weekend it was!!! After eight long months of searching, Dead Zed Zombie was finally cornered at of all places, some spooky carnival that literally just materialized in what some are describing as 'parts unknown' by none other than the undead ringmaster himself, Barnabas Bailey.

As you can see by the photos that were sent in, Zed looks, well... let's face it kids, he looks like crap.

It won't  take the gang here at Pittsburgh Underground long to secure Zed and bring him back to the sewers so HANG TIGHT - We will have another report in exactly 1 HOUR (that's right around 12:30 gang!) to give you the scoop on whether or not Dead Zed will air tonight for his anniversary show which will also start our Season 2 Episodes...

Announcement: WANTED!!! Dead Zed Zombie!!!

Howdy cowpies!!! We got ourselves a HUGE problem in these here parts!!! Dead Zed Zombie has been missin' from the Pittsburgh Underground since January and we need your help to find him!

Hopefully you've been keeping tabs on us here at PU and can point us in the right direction before something AWFUL happens!!! Please, comment below and let us know anything that you might about were you last saw him, what he was wearing, who he was with - ANY info you have will help us track him down!

Also, please don't forget to be very careful when approaching Zed - he's been on one of his heiness drug-n-drink blowouts since New Years Day of this year which means he most likely has the munchies and YOU are the food! We just need to find him before October 31st at Midnight so we can get him off the goofballs and get him ready for Dead Zed Zombie Season 2!!!

CALLING ALL CARS!!! We have a full-fledged ZOMBIE ALERT and Pittsburgh Underground needs your help!!!

It's been nearly ONE YEAR since our old pal Dead Zed Zombie made his first appearance to the world on our 2010 Halloween Special). His anniversary is fast approaching and the rotten green bastard is no where to be found!

I know you've been all patiently waiting for Dead Zed to make another appearance - we're as anxious as the rest of you... After our New Year's Day Spooktacular aired last year, Dead Zed went ape-shit crazy on one of his infamous holiday benders. He ruined our PU Master Control Program (seriously - zombie urine is a IMPOSSIBLE to get out!), stepped on Rico Rocho (luckily being a cockroach, he was able to squish down before he could splatter), and then tore out of the Pittsburgh Underground sewers on a rampage!

Our own Chops Huber, brings us this Deadtime Story entitled, A Very Krampus Khristmas as read by Dead Zed Zombie and Rico Rocho.

The Krampus is the demonic counterpart of good ol' St. Nick who drops by a bit before good old St. Jolly to PUNISH all those naughty children (mmm...mmm...Krampus-style!).  Yes, the KRAMPUS ROCKS!!!
