Artsy Fartsy: Annual Pittsburgh Zine Fair Fundraiser - THIS SUNDAY!!!

Greetings gang! Big news in the world of Pittsburgh indy zines as The Mr. Roboto Project (5106 Penn Ave, 15224) hosts the Pittsburgh Zine Fair Fundraiser this Sunday, August 3rd with doors opening at 7pm. A $5 to $10 (sliding scale) donation is requested (and appreciated)!

The kick-off to a season of zine related events, the Pittsburgh Zine Fair Fundraiser will feature three local bands: Geriatrics, Host Skull, and Shaky Shrines, along with artwork and merchandise from several local artists that will be available for purchase.

All proceeds from the concert and purchased artwork will benefit the 4th Annual Pittsburgh Zine Fair (PZF) to be held September 28th from 2 to 8PM (Stay tuned to Pittsburgh Underground for more details to come)!

The Pittsburgh Zine Fair is organized completely on a volunteer basis; therefore, all funds raised go
directly to marketing, logistics and to allow for table fees to remain low. The latter being essential to
the inclusion of diverse community voices.

For more information on the fundraising event, check out the Pittsburgh Zine Fair Fundraiser on Facebook, or contact Maggie Negrete (724 554 3790) at pghzinefair@gmail.com or mgglnt@gmail.com.
