Greetings one and all to the terribly twisted and torrid tale of our festering frontman Dead Zed Zombie. As most of you know, on New Years Day of this year, Zed went on one of his infamous holiday benders and hadn't been heard from until TODAY!!!
Marking Zed's anniversary of his very first webisode appearance to the world, Pittsburgh Underground proudly announces Dead Zed's return to both the small and big screen as he joins Barnabus Bailey and the Greatest Show Unearthed LIVE at the Hollywood Theater TONIGHT in Dormont, Pa (also simulcast on the Barnabus website!).

Believe it or not, this little goofball had actually been in 'squating' throughout these nine months in the Pittsburgh Underground Boneyard and has since his return after being apprehended by Barnabus and his crew of carnival creeps!
Zed's best buddy, Rico Roacho who has been on the lookout for him ever since! Tonight, Rico will start us off on the Barnabus show this evening as he gets the scoop from our wild and wooley neighbor who also be making his debut to the world - our old pal Wolfgang Moonbang.

The BIG SHOW starts TONIGHT at the Hollywood Theater in Dormont promptly at 6:00 PM for only $10.00!!! (seriously, the best bloody bargain in the city folks!) First featuring the Pittsburgh homegrown heavy metal hit musicians, River Runs Scarlet! Next at 8PM, we have the 80's classic (and one of PU's favorite flicks), Return of the Living Dead from late, great director Dan O'Bannon. When two boobs from a medical supply warehouse accidentally puncture an army medical drum containing 2-5-4 Trioxin gas (along with a gooey-zombie) it sets off a chain reaction that awakens the dead and their hunger for BRAINS!!!

At 10PM we have what you've all been waiting for... the LIVE Premiere of Barnabus Bailey and the Greatest Show Unearthed! For those of you who have been yearning for the late night horror host to fill the incredibly large shoes of the amazing 'Chilly Billy' Cardille of Pittsburgh's own Chiller Theater, Barnabus is here to the rescue to fill your dreams with screams, but with a unique twist!
Barnabus will be breaking the mold of airing established, public domain horror films to showcase NEW independant movies from up and coming filmmakers who's visions of terror can not be contained!!! For this first show, Barnabus will premiere the indy horror flick, Welcome To Deer Creek directed by Jim Roberts of Blind Sight Productions. Check out this corn-fed conundrum!

And lastly, at Midnight is Abel Ferrara's 1979 horror classic, The Driller Killer - the grizzly story of an artist slowly goes insane while struggling to pay his bills, work on his paintings, and care for his two female roommates, which leads him taking to the streets of New York after dark and randomly killing derelicts with a power drill.
