Fright Night (2011) Trailer Courtesy of TrailerAddict.com
This new remake stars Anton Yelchin (Chekov from the new Star Trek Reboot) as Charlie Brewser, David Tennant (of Dr. Who fame) as Peter Vincent, Christopher Mintz-Plasse (McLovin' from Superbad) as his pal 'Evil Ed', and Colin Farrell as the creature of the night, Jerry Dandrige.

For those of you who have been sleeping for 3 decades, Fright Night is the remake of the 1985 vampire hit about Charlie Brewser (William Ragsdale), a teenager who's next door neighbor, Jerry Dandrige (Chris Sarandon) , is actually a vampire. The hitch is no one believes Charlie's story until he convinces local Fright Night host, Peter Vincent (the fearless vampire killer, played by the immortal Roddy McDowall) to aid him on his quest to destroy the blood sucker! Check out the 1985 trailer below:

The screenplay was written by the beautiful and talented Marti Noxon, one of our favorite writers who is best known for her work our favorite TV series, Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Check out Marti's interview here on Collider.com.
Will the new Fright Night rise to the occasion? With Marti Noxon in charge, our hopes are set high. Fright Night premeires This August in theaters near you!
Tits For Telly: Wonder Woman Screwed By NBC
Hiddy-ho my minions of mayhem! Well, low and behold, the geniuses at NBC have done it yet AGAIN, and pulled the plug on another show before it could even get off the ground. The new Wonder Woman series that had already gone into production was cancelled before the Princess of Paradise Island could soar into the spotlight once more (see our April 4th article for more info). None of this should come as a surprise as NBC has been notorious for their legancy of mismanaged (or mismangled as the case may be) properties pissing off audiences and advertisers alike in the process.
