Well it finally happened - Pittsburgh Comicon has passed the torch and now the first ever Wizard World Pittsburgh Comicon being held at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center (1000 Ft. Duquesne Blvd.
Pittsburgh, PA 15222) starting tomorrow through Sunday.
William Shatner to appear at Wizard World Pittsburgh 2015
Admission not including autograph signings or meet-and-greets: $75 for a three-day pass or $85 on-site; $35 for Friday, $45 for Saturday and $40 for next Sunday. Various VIP and photo-op packages come in a wide variety of prices as per most Comicon events.
Show hours are:
Friday, September 11, 2015 – 3pm - 8pm
Saturday, September 12, 2015 - 10am - 7pm
Sunday, September 13, 2015 - 11am - 5pm
There will be a number of high profiled guests including William Shatner and David Duchovny, both who have special ‘VIP experience packages that gets you a gift pack, 30 minute early entry onto the show floor for the weekend, speedpass for autographs and photo ops and in some cases, special seating during panel discussions.
The regular band of cosplayers, artists, and movie vehicles will be on hand (a Jurassic World jeep and the Ecto-1 from Ghostbusters). If you’ve already registered with the con you can also receive a limited edition ‘The Walking Dead #1’ variant cover by Pittsburgh artist Jim Rugg.
