The Horror Realm Film Festival is an extension of the long running Horror Realm Convention. Horror Realm has long supported independent filmmakers and has created the film festival to increase this support. The festival will take place in the historic Hollywood Theater (1449 Potomac Avenue, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15216) . The festival’s panel of judges has been carefully selected from the horror community and is comprised of filmmakers and writers.
Finalists:
Finalists will consist of the top three films in each award category. All entrants’ films will be shown the weekend of the festival.
Hours:
- Thursday, May 22 - Opening Reception 8 PM
- Friday, May 23 - Screenings 10 AM to midnight
- Saturday, May 24 - Screenings 10 AM to 10 PM
- Saturday, May 24 - Closing Party 10 PM
- Sunday, May 25 - Screenings 11 AM to 2 PM
- Sunday, May 25 - Awards Ceremony
Tickets are now available at Showclix. VIP tickets may also be purchased at the Hollywood Theater during regular business hours (save on the fee!).
Prices:
- Single day $10
- Weekend - $25 - all screenings & awards ceremony -
- VIP - $40 - all screenings, awards ceremony, opening reception & closing party admission. Reception and party include light appetizers and complimentary beer, wine or soft drinks (two drink maximum, ID required)
