This Tuesday, Federal Judge John Jones ruled that Pennsylvania's ban on gay marriage was unconstitutional (duh!), meaning that all same-sex couples who seek marriage or are already married will be recognized by the Commonwealth. Check out this news clip from Pittsburgh's WTAE Action News.

Pennsylvania was the last state in the North East to finally do right for our same-sex community and it's opened up the flood gates with about 160 applications that were filled out for marriage licenses overnight just here in Allegheny County, many using this online application (future adjustments will be made to the existing forms that will be change 'bride and groom' to 'party 1 and party 2').
That means all our same sex friends here in the Pittsburgh (and all over PA) can finally tie the knot! Let's face it gang - there's nothing in the world better than love and we couldn't be happier for everyone here in the 'burgh who finally get to make it 'official'.
