Movies That Have Everything Preview: The Wolverine

SNICKETY SHNAK!!! It’s FRIDAY which means another super hero movie is springing into theaters this weekend, and for some, it’s a character that is LONG overdo for an overhaul!

The Wolverine, starring Hugh Jackman is finally hitting the silver screen this weekend, and as rumor has it, tinsel town is FINALLY giving us the movie that fans of the Marvel Comics character have been anxiously awaiting for a LONG time (believe it or not, this is Jackman’s seventh outing as the title character!). Check out the trailer!

The Wolverine (2013 Trailer)

For this adaptation, our hero is given a chance to become mortal once more with the help of a Japanese soldier whom he once saved from imminent destruction in what appears to be a ‘be careful what you wish for’ scenario. Yes, that was the Silver Samurai and it does appear that he’s about to kick poor Wolvies butt!!!

Joining Jackman are Rila Fukushima as Yukio and Will Yun Lee as the Silver Samurai along with veteran X-Men actress (and one of our favorites) Famke Jansen reprising her role as Jean Grey (or at least her memory as this takes place after the 3rd X-Men movie in the series).

Let’s hope that this will help erase the scars left by the less than stellar X-Men Origins: Wolverine back in 2009 (not all of us have super-healing abilities damn it!). You’ve got to hand it to Jackman though - he keeps coming back for more!

The Wolverine premieres this Friday at a theater near you.

BONUS!!! Check out this amazing Wolvie-bezerker puppet satire from the talent folks at
Glove and Boots!
