Whaddup with your silly sick selves? It's that time again - another Movies That Have Everything Preview! The gang here at good ol' Pittsburgh Underground has been waiting (ok, especially Chops) for this prequel to the original 1882 sci-fi hit, The Thing, staring Kurt Russell and directed by the guru of all sci-fi, John Carpender. For this chapter in the Thing saga directed by Matthijs van Heijningen Jr. and the producers of the awesome Dawn of the Dead remake (long live George Romaro!), we visit with the Norweigen team that first discovers the creature (no, not our Creature) that obliterates everyone in the 1982 tale. Staring Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Sky High, Death Proof, Live Free or Die Hard) as the graduate student Kate Lloyd who's in the wrong place at just the right time (ah... move magic!).
