Tits For Telly: Kids in the Hall Reunion Mini Series on IFC

It's a fact! The Kids in the Hall are BACK with a new 8 part mini series on IFC entitled 'Death Comes To Town".  Check out the trailer:

The Kids In The Hall: Death Comes To Town

For those of you who've been out to lunch, The Kids in the Hall are one of the biggest sketch comedy troupes to come out of Canada in the last decade before their series ended in mid 1990 (it first aired on HBO and then to CBS). Their only feature film, Brain Candy with The Kids in the Hall, was released in 1996 and instantly became a cult classic. The troupe recently completed a live tour of over 40 North American cities, featuring all new material for the first time since the end of their run on TV.

Written by the five members of the troupe Dave Foley, Bruce McCulloch, Kevin McDonald, Mark McKinney, and Scott Thompson the show is described by Bruce McCulloch, ""It's a gothic comic mini-series, like 'Corner Gas' meets 'Twin Peaks'. It's silly and it's dark, and it's about outsiders and people in over their heads." Dave Foley adds that, ""It is still very much a Kids in the Hall troupe effort. As long as what we're pursuing is what we think is really funny, that's what keeps us honest."

The  original scripted series of eight 30-minute back to back episodes, premieres on IFC on August 20 at 10:00PM ET/PT.
