Ah Machete... Me give you taco flavored kisses!
In honor of Cinco de Mayo this week, the gang here at good ol' PU wanted to present the trailer for the newest 'Mexploitation' film from Robert Rodriquez titled Machete. Now this film doesn't hit the theaters until September 2010, but a 'mock trailer' was produced for Rodriquez's Grindhouse and it looks amazing! The flick stars Danny Trejo who has starred in a plethera of other Rodriquez features includiing Grindhouse, From Dusk Till Dawn, and Desperado.
If you dig this trailer, check out the newest 'illegal' trailer (these are words from Rodriquez himself as he is the one who produced it) that was handed off to the folks at Ain't It Cool News. Rodriquez has really fleshed out the cast in this one as it features Robert De Nero, Don Johnson, Jessica Alba, Lindsey Lohan, Cheech Marin, Pittsburgh special effects master Tom Savini, and Lord help us - Steven Seagal!
