The Ex-Wives Club is an experimental comedy team from Washington, DC that blends formats, styles and perspectives into a dynamic concoction of razor-sharp wit and unique absurdities.
Now, for the first time ever, these five luminaries of stage and (computer) screen have decided to take their one-of-a-kind act on the road. In July 2017, they are traveling up and down the eastern seaboard to bring 90 minutes of electrifying stand up, sketch comedy and audience-interactive games to a few select cities at a time when this great nation of ours could use a good laugh or two.
Originally hailing from all over the United States, Kevin, Max, Yoki, Andrew and Pete all bonded over their love of cartoons, comic books, punk rock, hip hop and just goofing off in general. Rising stars of the DC comedy scene, they have donned stages across the country, and now they want to make a weird journey into their collective subconscious available to you!
With over 25 years of comedy experience between them, this new breed of buffoons and nutjobs has performed on the SeeSo network and at the DC Improv, Drafthouse Comedy Theater, Arlington Cinema Drafthouse, Laughing Skull Lounge, Cozzy’s Comedy Club, the Creek and the Cave, the New Movement Theater, Magooby’s Jokehouse, the Comedy Works, The Fest, Burning Bridges Comedy Festival, and the Charm City Comedy Festival.
Don’t risk missing them now, because the next time you see them might be broadcast to millions of other people around the world, or just getting booked next to you in county lock up!
