Annoucement: Pittsburgh's Horror Realm and Pop Expo starts THIS FRIDAY!!!


Horror Realm, in association with In Person Productions, is pleased to launch Pittsburgh’s Horror Realm and Pop Expo on July 24-26, 2015 at the Crowne Plaza Pittsburgh West Green Tree.

Special Guests Caroll Spinney (aka Big Bird / Oscar the Grouch) and David Newell (aka Mr. McFeely)

The three day convention/expo brings the familiar, comfortable and affordable vibe that Horror Realm has built over the last seven years while expanding to offer guests from the pop culture arena. 

Ticket Prices:
•VIP - $100 – must be purchased in advance – limit 100 tickets. VIP perks include:

The show will continue to feature dealer rooms, guest panels, film program, plus contests and entertainment, enhanced to include the pop culture experience.

Ryan Hurst Autograph/Photo/Professional Photo Ops:
All autographs and photo ops must be purchased in advance for a specified time period. Prices do not include convention admission. All sales are final – no refunds.
  • Autograph only - $35
  • Autograph combo with non-professional photo (with your camera or phone) - $50
  • Professional photo op - $45

Please check in at admissions table 15 minutes prior to your time for an autograph or photo op voucher. You must be in line by the top of the hour of your time slot.

Ryan Hurst will be appearing on Saturday and Sunday only. Signing hours are:
  • Saturday from 9 AM to 2 PM and 3 PM to 6 PM
  • Sunday from 10 AM to 1 PM and 2 PM to 5 PM
Professional photo op hours are:
  • Saturday at 2 PM
  • Sunday at 1 PM
Professional photo ops with Ryan Hurst are available for purchase. We are pleased to be working with Morbid Memories by Sigler Photography to produce photo ops. Cost is $45 and includes an 8x10 photo and protective plastic sleeve. Photos will be ready within two (2) hours and can be picked up on site.

Professional photo op rules:
- Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time
- No more than two adults per photo
- Children under 12 can be included in the photo with adults
- No photos or video with your own camera or camera phone

The room block is ready for reservations! Get in on the special Horror Realm rate of $105 per night plus tax. Group code is HOR.

You can reserve your room by calling 412-922-8100 and mentioning the group code, or you can reserve online by following these steps:

1. Go to http://www.ihg.com/crowneplaza/hotels/us/en/pittsburgh/pitgr/hoteldetail
2. Under "Make a Reservation" select the dates you want to stay, number of rooms and number of adults & children then click "Check rates and availability.
3. A new screen will appear. Under the "Rate Preference" drop down, click on "Group Code" and enter HOR.
4. Click apply and the room options under the group rate will appear.
