Movies That Have Everything: Avengers Assemble!!!

Hey gang! Anyone going to see The Avengers this weekend? The gang here at Pittsburgh Underground can't wait!!! Check out the trailer!

The Avengers (2012 Trailer)

The Avengers have been fighting the good fight since comic book legends Stan Lee and Jack Kirby introduced them as part of the Marvel Comics library back in September 1963 (believe it or not, next year marks their 50th anniversary!). In this feature film adaptation, our heroes - Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), and Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) are lead into battle by Nick Fury (the always awesome (Samuel L. Jackson) against Thor's brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston)PU Geek-Attack: Loki was also the very first villain that The Avengers fought in the comics as well!.

Can't believe that your daddy used to read The Avengers? Check out this amazing mash up from  Leo Curbelo Films using footage from yesteryear!

So starts the beginning of the summer movie season! Pittsburgh Underground will assemble TODAY for the big show (insert geek cheer here!)  over at the Southside Works Cinema! Hope to see you there!
