Announcement: Art All Night 2011 Begins This Friday!!!

Hear-yee! Hear-yee! It's that time again boys and girls! The 14th Annual Art all Night begins this Friday, April 29th, 2011 at 4PM to Sunday May 1st at 2PM at the old Iron City Brewery at 3340 Liberty Avenue.

What? You don't know what Art All Night is about? It's Pittsburgh's annual uncensored, non-juried art show occurring the last weekend in April in the Lawrenceville section of Pittsburgh. It starts on the Saturday night and goes all night until Sunday afternoon.

The event is FREE to both participants and attendees. Participants are allowed to enter one piece of art and can either register online OR register onsite between 10AM and 2PM on Saturday April 30th. at the registration table.

NEW THIS YEAR: video artists may submit silent video to be used as visuals (video mix) for Art All Night DJ performances. Videos should be no longer than 5 minutes long. Submission may be manipulated in realtime by changing the timing of clips, layering on other clips and having effects applied. Videos should be supplied as downloadable links, or delivered on disk. Email video at @artallnight.org to discuss submissions. The last day for video submissions is Sunday, April 24th.

This is one of the Pittsburgh art community's crown jewel events and a blast every year! We hope to see you there!
